Frederic S. Mishkin is the Alfred Lerner Professor of Banking and Financial Institutions at the Graduate School of Business, Columbia University. He served as a governor on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System from September 2006 to August 2008. He is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and past president of the Eastern Economics Association. Frederic S. Mishkin is the Pearson Economics author of Economics of Money, Banking and Financial Markets, 10e (also available: Business School Edition, 3e) and the new textbook Macroeconomics: Policy and Practice.
